The piano music box is shaped like a piano. The music box’s mechanism is mounted into the piano body. The music can be played by winding the bottom of the box, opening the piano lid, and pulling out the crutch to support the lid. The crutch also functions as a mechanism to turn on/off the music. When this crutch is put down, the music stops. Moreover, the piano music box has a slot for a ring.

I cannot verify durability, but the tune is exactly as discussed with the composer, and the piano looks very nice. I have not opened the keyboard of the piano because it is tough to budge and I don’t want to break it. Hopefully it will open with some convincing after I present it as a gift. The wind up allows for the tune to be played many times in a row, should that be desired.
